However, if wooden crates is need, we always use Heat treated pallet
in accordance to ISPM 15.
Starting Sept. 16, 2005 U.S. Customs and Border Protection will require all wood packaging materials to be treated against pest infestation, and marked with the International Plan Protection Convention (IPPC) logo. Paper treatment certificates will no longer accepted. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) import regulation requires that all wood packaging materials, such as pallets, crates, boxes and dunnage, must be treated and marked. Shippers that don't comply face having their packaging and cargo exported.
The USDA hopes to prevent invasive insect species from entering the U.S. in packaging materials, then harming native plants. The rule applies to all countries exporting to the U.S., with the exception of Canada, which has similar plant and insect ecosystems. The IPPC standard, called ISPM-15, was developed in 2002 when inadvertently imported Asian long horned beetles attacked U.S. forests, and other countries found themselves battling pine wood nematodes from the U.S. Shippers can treat wood packaging materials either by heat treating at a minimum wood core temperature of 56ºC for a minimum of 30 minutes; or fumigation with methyl bromide.

Natural Photo Albums Indonesia The EPA has been phasing out methyl bromide, however, because of environmental concerns. The National Wood Pallet Container Association and APHIS have developed a certification program for fumigation of wood pallets, which uses heat treatment. Meanwhile, others in the industry are trying to develop alternate fumigation treatments, possibly using vacuum or microwave technology.

into carton boxes 49x58x33cm (HxWxD) then we build wooden crates around the
boxes (8 boxes for each crate). For additional protection, we sealed the inner
side of wooden crate with plastic.
We also add SuperDry moisture absorber.
LCL cost is calculated at US$ rate per m3 (cubic
meter).
1 Cubic equal to 10 carton boxes (not including wood crate).
One CBM (cubic meter) equal to:
- 160pcs large photo albums + 24pcs small photo albums
- 272pcs medium photo albums + 72pcs small photo albums
- 544pcs small photo albums
